on planning while an e-i-r is being developed. that is the intent to change the results of the nap e-i-r. don interfere and vote no on this resolution. the e-i-r in question is supposed to be for the natural area management plan, not just parts of it. you should not allow extremists with a stake in this to pick and choose which parts of the overall nap plan are considered in the e-i-r. if it is to have any real meaning it is to look at all, not just some aspects. it should not be completed if it does not include sharp park plan. it will be wasted. please vote no on this. please do not let extremists with an agenda and lawsuit use you the supervisors to do their dirty work for them. don't let them fool you into giving them what have not been able to get from the people, from rpd, from the mayor or from the courts. please ask supervisor olague to pull this resolution so no one ever has to see it again. thank you. >> is there anyone else in the public that would like to speak? public comment is closed. so, if there are no comments, we have a request. supervisor wiener? >> i understand that super

a popular baby recliner seat known as the nap nanny. >> this has been linked to deaths of five babies. michael finney is here with the latest. >> good news. i reported it consumer products safety commission called it dangerous for babies. today, four major retailer as agreed to pull 150,000 of the baby recliners off shelves. the seats blamed in the death of five babies and injuries to 70 more. the government received dozens of reports of babies falling or hanging out of the sides. the recall affects older and newer models all sold from 2009 to 2012. retailer recalling chairs are am -- amazon, bye-bye baby, toys are us and babies are us. the manufacturer said it's safe when used as directed but says the company is now out of business. if you have one, return it. new year coming up. witness comes broad new protections for social media privacies in california. this is good news for consumers. a state law prevents online snooping, barring ploimys to ask for user names and pass words, considered one of the most far reaching laws in the nation protecting social media privacy. >> in the past

retailers to recall a popular infant recliner. 150,000 "nap nanny" recliners are being recalled. a report says the product poses a substantial risk of injury and death to infants. amazon, toys- r-us and babies-r-us are recalling the item. the manufacturer, baby matters, said the company is "standing by its product 100%." toyota will pay $1.1 billion to settle dozens of cases related to sudden acceleration. but it's not the end of the carmaker's troubles. the proposed billion-dollar deal is considered the larget ever paid by an auto maker. it covers toyota and lexus owners claiming the value of their cars was hurt by potential defects that could cause the car to suddenly go out of control at high speeds. it does not cover dozens of wrongful death lawsuits or personal injury cases. the l.a. times reports at least one of those cases goes to trial this spring. 2013 is being pegged as "the year of the truck." car review site edmunds.com is predicting that the improving housing market will help boost truck sales. it is also estimating that overall auto sales will hit 15 million, an increase of

, this was a 15-minute ride and so i had to fall asleep and take a nap. so this day like usual, i had fallen asleep the train was delayed and i didn't know why but i had plenty of time to get to work. suddenly i was awakened by five police officers with their hands on the weapons. and it startled me to the point where i jumped out of my seat and one of the officers shoved me in the seat and said we got a report that there was a black man that has or a woman said that there was a black man carrying a gun and wearing a long coat. i had a jacket on and it was covering me when i was asleep, it was not long at all. i had probably touched a gun twice in my life, i don't like guns. and never carry one. but it was just the way that whole thing was handled and then you think if there was a report of a white man in a long coat, would they have gone to every white man on the train to look and search through everything of mine, cutting my down. it was a horrible violation. and it triggered my ptsd and because i could not sleep for a week after that. and i could not... that day at work they sent me home

was in discussions with "baby matters llc" to recall a popular infant recliner called the "nap nanny." children were found hanging or fell out of the recliner and were injured or killed. talks for a voluntary recall broke down... so commissioners are asking a court to order a mandatory recall. in affect for the napa river in nap ma and saint huh h -- saint helena. it is surging, swelling. it was not this high a few hours ago. you can see the storm debris flowing through the river, and this rain is continuing. relentless day luge hitting us in downtown napa this, month. because the soil is already so saturated the rain is expected to pus the -- to push the napa river to the flood stage. the flood level is 25.1 feet in napa, but they are projecting the water could go as high as 27 feet between 1:00 this afternoon and 6:00 this evening. as we all know, downtown napa saw the river overwhelm and over flow in 2005. thousands of acres flooded. residents were evacuated. some completely displaced. since then the napa river, napa creek protection project have made significant improvements to prevent that from happening again. but city officials say they are confident they can deal with the expected water flow. i went to downtown napa and not a lot of businesses open this early in the morning. at the coffee roasting company they had a theory. they were loit hearted and they tell
